SCHNEIDER ELECTRIC, world’s leading Digital Transformation of Energy Management and Automation company, has opened its first retail experience zone, ‘Xperience Point’ in Gurugram. The Xperience Point will host Schneider Electric’s entire suite of products that redefine homes and living spaces. These include a wide range of customisable switches with variety of colour plates, distribution board covers, protection devices as well as products that are digitised and connected to ensure sustainability and efficiency, while adding to the style and comfort quotient of a home.
With an interactive product display and fully automated experience, Xperience Point will also help in training the electricians, architects and channel partners who are engaged in installation and maintenance of these products. The two retail product verticals by Schneider Electric include Protection equipment (such as MCBs, RCCBs and distribution boards) and wiring devices (switches and sockets) for residential, commercial, industrial segments.
Commenting on the first Xperience Point, Srinivas Shanbhogue, Vice President-Retail Business, Schneider Electric India said that the idea is to offer value proposition to the customers with a wide range of products to suit different budgets under one roof. He said that the products on display at the Xperience Point are broadly under three categories like Safety, Wiring Devices, and Home Automation. “At Schneider Electric, our motto is safety with style. With the launch of Xperience Point we not only want to showcase our high-end products but also bring out aspects like safety, connectivity and efficiency that is the need of most of the households today. The retail store is an endeavour to further strengthen our presence in the segment and provide easier access of our products to our customers.” It’s a good opportunity for electricians, architects and interior decorators to visit the outlet and select switches and other products aligning with their décor, he added.
Shanbhogue informed that they will open more Xperience stores in other metros and Tier I and II cities in coming years.
